Webinar:
«TRIZ in Education as a Way to Develop Students’ Creativity and Innovative Thinking: Practical Examples and Implementation Results»
December 03, 2024
Time: 15:00-16:00 CET (09:00-10:00 EST)
Recently, significant attention has been devoted to transforming education in many countries worldwide. Programs are being implemented to integrate educational processes with modern systems that focus on developing critical thinking, effective problem-solving, coordinated communication, and collaboration skills.
Successful implementation of a new learning model often requires not only considerable time but also substantial resources, including teacher training, classroom renovations, new curriculum development, and more. This gives rise to a contradiction: schools are expected to transform to meet global demands for specialized training, yet, in reality, they may be unable to transform due to a lack of resources.
Originally developed for engineering, TRIZ has been gradually integrated into the education system, accumulating methods and approaches for developing not only creative, critical, and innovative thinking but also skills in systems thinking, positive attitudes toward emerging challenges, and essential student qualities – commonly referred to as soft skills.
The key advantages of TRIZ in education are its effectiveness, flexibility, and adaptability. By using a problem-solving formula, we avoid unnecessary resource expenditure. By following a route map, we save effort in finding the right path without unnecessary concerns. TRIZ offers a rich, versatile toolkit of methods and techniques that can be integrated into any subject or topic, effectively addressing educational, managerial, and real-life problems.
Teaching children in TRIZ-inclusive programs yields impressive results. Students not only invent and obtain patents while still in school but also successfully enter top universities worldwide—not only in technical and natural sciences but also in the humanities. The integration of TRIZ into education forms a foundation for developing future innovation leaders.
The webinar will present examples of TRIZ approaches in education, integration methods, and their results. Join us to learn how to apply TRIZ in education!
