Shree M Phadnis, TRIZ Level 3 Expert — Chief Technology Officer, TRIZ Asia (India), TRIZ Champion ( 2025 )

Mr. Phadnis collaborates and works on multiple innovation projects along with GEN-TRIZ LLC. He carries 35 years of experience across multiple domains, including 25+ years of experience teaching TRIZ.

Mr. Phadnis is the first TRIZ Level 3 expert in India. A majority of TRIZ professionals trained and certified for Level 1 in India have been trained by Mr. Phadnis.

  • Team Leader for Innovation and Improvement at ADNOC LNG (Abu Dhabi), governing the deployment of improvement and innovation projects across ADNOC LNG.
  • Ex Country Deployment Champion and Master Black Belt (MBB) at SKF India Ltd; led Six Sigma, Lean, and DFSS initiatives across SKF India, overseeing more than 200 projects annually.
  • Chairman, TRIZ Association of Asia.

Mr. Phadnis has been involved in many project interventions in organizations such as Daimler (Mercedes Benz), DCITI, Marico Industries, Crompton, Fleetguard Filtrum, CEAT Limited, Apollo Tyres, Bajaj Auto Limited, Stryker, Mahindra & Mahindra (Tractor Division), Hitachi, Forbes Marshall, Ministry of Defense (Singapore) and others—helping develop innovative new products and processes (including award-winning innovations) and solve tough technological challenges.

Being a Directed Evolution expert, he possesses the ability to create future technological roadmaps using structured methods—including identifying patent blocks, patent circumventions, and invention evaluations.

Mr. Phadnis has developed comprehensive frameworks for institutionalization of innovation in organizations, including methods of assessment and audit for building the infrastructure for systematic innovation deployments.
