Joint Declaration on TRIZ Master Certification
MATRIZ Official (MO) and TRIZ Developers Summit (TDS)
  1. To preserve the prestigious status of “TRIZ Master” within the community, we establish a unified set of criteria for assessing candidates and their submitted works. The proposed criteria include:
    1. Dissertation submission: A qualification work must be provided in either printed or electronic format.
    2. Expert evaluation: The qualification work must be reviewed by a panel of 7–12 leading TRIZ Masters.
    3. Open defense: Candidates must undergo an open defense procedure, allowing observation by all interested parties.
    4. Quality standards: The work must meet strict quality requirements, including originality, specific methodological recommendations, practical applicability, and demonstrative application examples.

The complete list of requirements is detailed in the Regulations on TRIZ Master Certification (MO and TDS versions), which are available on the respective associations’ websites.

  1. The title of TRIZ Master and its corresponding diploma shall be mutually recognized by both TRIZ public organizations that endorse this declaration. This recognition applies to those TRIZ Masters who obtained this title after the declaration is signed.
  2. Certification for the TRIZ Master title in areas such as business, science, education, creative imagination development, artificial intelligence, software products, art, and other fields must adhere to the same criteria, while considering the specific characteristics of each area.
